The lighting at the Hyatt Regency at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver was designed by Babu Shankar of Integrated Lighting Design, and looks as beautiful today as it did when it was first commissioned. The system has ETC’s Unison Paradigm at the helm, making the control system beautiful, too. Large-format Touchscreens have been custom programmed with a map-based system revolving around actual pictures of the hotel. Facility staff graphically navigate a map of the hotel to choose which areas to light and the look of the space. Virtual Touchscreens running on PC’s let AV staff monitor lighting and make changes right from their office, quickly responding to any special requests.
