Description
The Woodstock Academy, located in Woodstock, CT, is an independent day and boarding school serving grades nine to twelve and postgraduates. Five years ago, The Woodstock Academy had the opportunity to purchase an additional campus, which included a 1,018 seat theatre, atrium, lecture hall, and art gallery in the facility now known as Loos Center for the Arts. The campus acquisition included plans to completely renovate the backbone of the theatre, atrium, lecture hall, and art gallery, including the lighting, electrical, rigging, and audio. Through a generous gift, the project came to life in mid-2019.Quote
“We had a truly fast paced project. Working with 4Wall Boston during an extremely quiet planning phase, we developed all the plans for the project before announcing in May of 2019. We entered renovations at the beginning of July 2019 and were open again in December 2019 with all new tools and resources to please audiences and designers alike. We couldn’t be happier with the renovations we now get to utilize which help us grow the arts in the greater Connecticut region.” – Eric Chalupka, Executive Director of Loos Center for the Arts
