Founded in 1865, Malvern College in Worcestershire, England, is one of the UK’s leading independent boarding schools. Its original theatre opened in 1903 as a gymnasium, but in 2018 it underwent a huge renovation and was transformed into Rogers Theatre – an impressive theatrical venue and multi-functional space. The venue is now equipped for a variety of performances including theatre, dance, music concerts and fashion shows. J&C Joel supplied a selection of stage engineering and drapery services for the refurbishment, including two ETC Prodigy hoists with Compression Tube and ladder bars, controlled by ETC QuickTouch+, used primarily to facilitate the raising and lowering of stage lighting and stage curtains.
