Musikhuset Aarhus in Denmark is a popular culture and events venue. It is the largest concert hall in Scandinavia and attracts half a million visitors each year for concerts, musicals, theatre shows, opera and more. For some time, the building’s lighting and technical teams had been looking to renovate the stage machinery system in the venue’s 465-seater (or 1000-standing) Rytmisk Sal (rhythmic hall). Eight Prodigy P2 hoists were selected to upgrade the existing rigging system, combined with a QuickTouch+ control station, offering complete system control in an affordable and user-friendly package. With the large number of shows and events held at Musikhuset Aarhus, a significant challenge was fitting the installation into the busy schedule.
