Scale-Model Sunrises with ETC Mosaic and the Pasadena Model Railroad Museum

Description

Founded in 1940, the Pasadena Model Railway Museum is a Mecca for model and railway enthusiasts from all over the world. It inhabits a 5,000-square-foot building in Los Angeles. (Yes, they know. They moved decades ago, but the name stuck.) The Museum is the home of the Sierra Pacific Lines, an HO-scale model railroad that is one of the largest in the world. A hybrid system of Echo architectural controls and Mosaic controllers create a 35-minute lighting cue for the entire building that simulates a full day, from sunrise to sunset and includes a wave of clouds that passes over the model.
