Description

Situated in Tullamore, in County Offaly, Ireland, Esker Arts Centre represents a significant local ambition for a vibrant arts venue and is the culmination of many years of work. It includes an art gallery and exhibition space, a rehearsal space, and a 228-seat auditorium with a proscenium stage. The lighting solution incorporates ColorSource ThruPower cabinets for production lighting, and an ArcSystem solution for house lighting; supplemented by BluesSystem for the backstage areas, and the stage and front of house gantries. The house light scheme encompasses Pro One-Cell luminaires with Fade to Warm technology for the auditorium, and ArcSystem Navis for the auditorium lobbies, driven by F-Drives. Control of the house lights is via Unison Echo Inspire Control Stations with fader control. An Ion Xe, for stage lighting control, completes the package.

“The finished ‘look’ that we got from the ArcSystem scheme is superb. The coverage is extremely even and the color temperature when fading down is stunning. Added to this the ease and simplicity of install with the F-Drive, all in all the ArcSystem is an excellent system to work with.”
“When you see both Theatreplan and ETC listed on the specification documents, and then add 3LR Lighting into the mix, you just know that the project is going to run fairly smoothly with very few issues, if any at all. PSI is very happy and proud to have been involved in this project and the product that was delivered.” – David McKeown, Project Estimation & Design, PSI
